Customs duty on purchases from the US

When duty applies (200 EUR and 31 kg threshold), what cannot be imported for personal use and how duty is included in the price.

Updated: 12.10.2026

The duty-free threshold

Personal-use goods delivered by a carrier are imported duty-free up to 200 EUR in value and 31 kg in weight (EEC Council Decision No. 107 of 2017). Above the threshold, duty applies to the excess part.

Duty is already in the price

Customs duty and state fee are included in the total price shown when you order (terms, clause 7). If the amount differs on the clearance day, the difference is not yours to pay (clause 6).

Quantity limits and restrictions

From 1 September 2026 Government Decision No. 715-N sets a personal-use quantity for each type of goods (for example, one refrigerator). Some types (for example, furniture) cannot be imported for personal use.

The full rules are in clause 26 of the terms. If an item is restricted, the site warns you before you pay.

Why an ID document is needed

The item is cleared through customs in your name, so the document details are needed. We do not ask for a copy or a photo.

Type the name, paste a link or a photo — you see the final price before you pay.
